If you live in the Moston area there are some fantastic opportunities to get involved in community events. Find information attached below:

“Please find info attached on the “Our Moston Community” meeting on Tursday 16th October at FC United, Broadhurst Park, 310 Lightbowne Rd. It’s a chance to find out what’s happening, tell your stories & have your say about all things Moston. Moston Brook Friends group will be having a stall. Registration & refreshments are at 5.30pm. Meeting is at 6-8pm. Hope to see you there

Local walks:

Weds 24th October. Walk from Hollinwood metrolink station to Moston Brook & then through the Irk Valley – Queens Park, St Michael’s Flags & Angel Meadows. You can pick up the return tram at Victoria Station, Manchester. Walk is led by the Wednesday Walkers, walk 2 group. Route 6-8 miles at a moderate pace. Meet at the Hollinwood Metrolink Station at 10.30am. Bring a packed lunch. If you’d like to do the walk could you let me know so I can advise the group of numbers? Thanks.

”Tues 13th November. Approx. 2 mile walk discovering the Broadway section of Moston Brook & Moston Fairway Nature Reserve. Walk kindly led by John Norman of the Lees Walking Group. Meet us at 10.45am at the hut at Lower Memorial Park, Failsworth, M35 0DY. Free drinks provided by the Moston Brook project. Toilets available at the park. Please book places with myself.

“Thanks to the invaluable help of a local volunteer we have run a number of successful walks in Failsworth & Moston Brook this year & plan to set up a regular programme of local walks. We’ll keep you posted.
