Religious Education
At Lyndhurst we pride ourselves on our diverse community. We believe that learning about and understanding each other’s religions, faiths and beliefs is a strength, and is a main driver in creating a cohesive society. Acceptance and understanding of differences and similarities is embedded in our vision – Shaping the Future. Making Memories. Ready for Life.
Our children are our future. As a non-denominational school, we believe that being able to express an educated opinion, whilst having an open mind to each other’s beliefs, faiths and religions builds a community of cohesion. Something that all responsible citizens strive for.
We use thinking, enquiry, creativity and response driven by the Oldham Agreed Syllabus to ensure a rounded balanced curriculum for all.
This year we are proud that our school is part of the team working to improve the Oldham Agreed Syllabus.
